I have no picture to tag this too, but Steve and Alberta were more than instrumental to my wife, Nora, and consequently to me, Howard, her husband, and to Erikka, our daughter now age 42. In 1971 they "rescued" Nora from her rebellious time as a young Filipina who, if not being able to obtain travel authorization to the United States, may well have been on the wrong side of Philippine history and perhaps been detained and possibly die as a dissident. Steve and Alberta made this possible. We have thought of and talked frequently about the twists and turns of fate and of Nora's luck in knowing Steve and Alberta. I guess in retrospect I should have contacted the State Department had I known Steve was still with the department. We wish we had properly thanked Steve over and over again.
